Peeno on an “approved” walk!

Peeno, is a new addition to the team as I fill in for a family walker. Recently she went on an unapproved walk of her own, and thank goodness she made it home again, safe and sound. Her family were very worried and so was I when I found out.

So I was very glad to have Peeno with me today and we set off for a walk… with me keeping an eagle eye on her… not escaping from me lil girl!

As it was so hot today we made a bee-line for the river for a cool splash about. Along the way we got to see and smell lots, and Peeno has shown a great interest in peoples gardens. Peeno reminds me of another of my team that likes a good look in gardens and between gates! I have a sneaking suspicion that Peeno is another one that likes to see if everyone is behaving themselves.

We passed by some shady spots (ha ha did I say spots!?) where we could. Peeno is very clever and walks in the shade even if I’m not as smart!

We got to the river and had a splash. She got to about chest deep and had some fun chomping at the water and splashes. She did a few paw splashes so she seemed to enjoy the cool dip. When she got out she didn’t have a big shake, like some people I know …Billy! Peeno has such nice short fur that even when she did a couple of shakes I didn’t get drenched!

We headed off and stopped along the way for a rest and a drink and made it home after a lil exploration of more alleyways to see where they went.

Nice walk again Peeno… no more unauthorized walks…ok?
