Billy is one of my team that has made a double century of runs on the board. He also walks with his family too, so he is a very busy and fit boy. Who knows how far he walks in a week? But I am sure its up there!
Today I had a plan to head for one of my favourite lil parks. It had recently been mown so it should be quite pleasant in there today. So we headed off into the cool morning and made our way towards the watercourse. We pretty much scooted along, but we stopped to smell the roses too… annnd start to roll in something very “un-rosey… when Billy rolls in something its usually very stinky… so we try and avoid that when we can!
There was one spot where Billy walked up a small gravelly-pebbly hill to investigate something or other and on the turn around his butt slipped sideways in the pebbles and started to slide down the hill… of course my first reaction was to laugh at him… and he looked at me like,’…I meant to do that!...’, yes Billy, I won’t tell any one… and then I laughed at him when he looked at me like, ‘… what?’
We kept on going and had a drink and rest break. Billy had been calling for a time-out for a few minutes so we sat in the shade and rested. We had our normal drink break and I took another sneaky pic. Billy is not usually excited to have his pic taken, so he’d been putting up with my happy snaps as always. So at the drinks break he got a snack (just some chewy straps) I don’y often give out treats, but every now and then I do… after the treat…Billy was ears deep in my back pack, looking for more! No more snacks for you…
So we headed off after a break and into the watercourse and off towards home. Its always a great walk with Billy, and he’s always entertaining with his antics and looks that he gives me… and of course his trade mark, “stop now and pat me”, stops! See you next week Billy!
