Zoe and Joe meet more fans!

Zoe, Joe and I had a warm walk today, so there were a few more rest breaks and extra water stops. They always enjoy their walks and make the most of their ‘ out of the yard” time. Though… they did flop pretty quick after we arrived home!

Today we went off to one of our favourite watercourses to take a look. I probably needs a mow, but we persevered and picked the well worn paths. It is a very popular route for joggers, walkers and families walking their dogs so there are well travelled parts!

We had a rest and water break at the bottom of the hill, and generally climbed all over me. Zoe Joe and Zoe liked that. Zoe caught me with some ear licks while Joe was trying to bull doze me… They are such a strong pair when they want to be…

But we headed off and walked over to the bottom of another hill and set ourselves for a climb. Joe didn’t start off very well… he called a time out very early! So we zigged a bit to get some shade and have another drink. Joe was pretty happy with that and started investigating someones garden. I couldn’t work out what it was but he was very keen to stay in amongst the shrubbery!

After a break, we found some nice shade to walk in and both Zoe and Joe liked that and they pretty much charged up the hill from there. Though ¾ of the way up we found some more shade and had another drink break. We had stopped out the front of a home that had some nice shade and as we shaded up the owners came out with some dishes of water! WOW! They were very friendly and loved Zoe and Joe, and we all sat and chatted and Zoe and Joe took all the pats and drinks on offer!

After the nice chats and pats from friendly neighbours, we headed off home again. We had covered a good distance and had arrived home pooped. Thanks to our friendly neighbours we got home a little less thirsty and flopped in the shade, happier for our walk and social visits! Big effort today guys!
