19.02.15 Billy finds a sprinkler…!

If I’d have known we were going to find a sprinkler and play in it, I’d have just turned the hose on at Billy’s place. But that’s the fun of walking your Dog anywhere anytime. There is always something to see, do, smell…or play!

Billy and I headed off once again with no real plan so we back street shuffled it for the most part. Billy was happy enough with that decision as he got to take a look around, smell the roses, checkout some gardens, and generally sniff and snuffle his way along. I was going to check out the housing development but they have cordoned off the walk way, so no go on that, I guess, until its all built really!

So we amused ourselves just with the walk and Billy’s over active nose. Speaking of noses, Billy was on the nose after he had a roll in something pretty disgusting. But I didn’t notice it till we sat down for a shady rest break and a drink. I thought maybe we stepped in something…or that something had died… no wonder he was smiling! He loves a roll in disgustingness! Funny boy!

After the drink we headed toward home and along the way someone had turned on a garden sprinkler. Maybe we missed it before but Billy was very happy to see it. It was hot out today, so I’m happy for playing in sprinklers! Billy was having a ball. I hadn’t seen him with sprinklers before. But I do know he enjoys water. So the sprinkler is on and he’s grabbing at the water and jumping over the fountain and generally having fun. It always amuses me to see Billy let his hair down and play. I was laughing my butt off and he just kept on going.

I have no idea how long we were there for, but I looked at my watch and we only had a very short time to make it back (again)… But Billy was happy playing with the never ending snaps at the water and jumping through the water!

Even after a shortcut home we were a little over time, but that’s ok… no body wants to stop playing with lawn sprinklers!...do they!?
