27.02.15 Leo and Sadie
Today Leo and Sadie were able to concentrate, and we walked our own PB so far. In fact they went so well, they almost doubled the distances we have been doing. The first few walks are always pretty slow. Exploration and distractions and a new walker all slow us down. Today we smashed out the kilometres!
Leo Sadie and I have been working hard to get into a rhythm. Its very exciting to have your very own walker to yourself and getting out of the yard is always fun. Leo and Sadie love checking things out, and I am discovering their joy at seeing almost any bird life. They especially like Galahs, with Sadie wanting to go up and say hello. Leo has a good look but isn’t as enthusiastic as Sadie.
When we get even more settled we’ll be able to take a closer look… promise!
Leo and Sadie have a nice ground eating pace and we pretty effortlessly made a good distance. I tried a slightly different route today and it paid off. We’ll work up to using other routes… but for now, kids…well done Leo and Sadie!
