28.02.15 Copper
It was a nice way to end the afternoon on a sunny Saturday with a walk with Copper. He is a very smart boy that likes to get out and about. He’s always on the path of some scent or another and like to keep an eye on pigeons as well.
Today Copper and I skipped along pretty quick and followed some alleyways to a cycleway. It’s a nice run and takes us along a couple of watercourses. The sun was casting nice long shadows across parts of our walk so it was a casual early evening stroll.
We crossed over the watercourse and followed the path until a divide and then headed back along the watercourse itself, stirring up bugs and grasshoppers. We also saw a few pigeons and Copper crouched into a stalk! Yay! Another of my team that love pigeons! So we stalked up as close as we could before they took off.
Copper was very pleased with himself and we headed for home. We passed a few fur-friend neighbours and didn’t pay too much attention to them. Copper did really well on the lead today. We did some practice before we left and then practiced along the way.
Good walk again today Copper… see you again soon.
