How good was Sammy today!? We visited a few farm animals, lil lambs, chooks, ducks, alpacas, horses and of course the yard dogs looking after the farm friends. We got up relatively close to some horses and we also stopped off at the shops to watch all the people going by.

As you may know Sammy is a very shy girl, so we are slowly going further and further away from home, increasing the number of people she sees and of course meeting other dogs. we went to some shops and watched a lot of people go by. There were kids and mums n dads people sitting and talking and all that good stuff. We sat a little away from everyone so we could watch, but we ended up sitting in the middle of everything.

Sammy was having a good look around as it was quite busy. We left after a little while and headed for some peace and quiet. I think we timed it all well, because as we saw the farm folks she wanted a good look. Its so nice to see Sammy walking along and not being too worried about anything.

Though we did have some very very noisy lil dogs run at us… Sammy didn’t like it much but she was happy to keep going. We also saw a kitty cat hunting something in the grass. That was a little exciting…I don’t know if Sammy see’s cats at all. Most would probably get out of her way coz she is so big! We had a good look and the strode off again

Sammy is doing so well. She is getting out of the yard, doing some exercise, seeing and smelling everything along our walk, meeting lots of people and other local and farm critters. She is definitely benefitting from all that environment interaction! Well done Sammy!
