Zoe , Joe and I headed off along some cycle ways this morning. We ended up flowing those for a while then we did a backstreet shuffle and looped to the cycle way again. Zoe and Joe were keen to hit the road and joe was in a playful mood for much of the walk… I’ve got my eye on you Joe!

After the other day, where we explored the remnants of the ebb tide, we weren’t so much as sight –seeing, as just powering along. I don’t always get to walk Zoe and Joe on a Saturday, but I thought we’d have met more people along the way. It was quiet in that regard. Even some of the more noisy lil fur-friends along the way, weren’t so noisy at all. Everyone must have been sleeping in!

We followed a route that took in a couple of the major cycles ways around the place, then we left one of them to backstreet shuffle that eventually led us back to one of the cycle ways again.

Along the way, Joe was in a playful mood and was even a tad boisterous for a few minutes. I asked him if he hadn’t walked far enough today?... I can fix that! He quietened down after that… I think he knew I might pick a very steep hill to finish on. Zoe always just tags along… though she took the lead a few times when Joe was hanging back with me looking for attention! She looked at Joe Like what are you doing… get up here!

On the way home Joe did call for a time out and I reminded him he should have saved his energy! But we stopped for pats all round and away we went.

When we got home we had a big drink and rested up… Good walk Zoe and Joe!
