Zoe and Joe are the giants of the walking team. We have lots of regular walks so, as you’d expect, they have racked up a lot of K’s. In a couple more walks we will have crossed a great milestone!

Today, we were all about speed. Well, Zoe and Joe were, I was kinda hoping they’d take it easy on an old guy! So seeing as they were walking fast, I thought we’d stick to the cycleways and see how far we got. We’d end on a hill, so they were asking for a big work out.

I think, like many of “my” Dogs, the slightly cooler temps make a nice difference… we didn’t kick of real early, but it was still pleasant. The drinks break was perfunctory and they were ready to go again… I can’t wait for winter… nice cool and cold walks with my team!

So we followed the pathways and looped our way back towards home. I wanted to check on a watercourse we use as a short-cut to other walk routes, but it has been a bit over grown, and with all the frogs out… snakes aren’t too far behind! We always like to keep an eye out for the route of the next adventure!
