05.03.15 Billy

Today we did a big loop that ended near some shops. Too bad we didn’t bring our money with us… the butchers shop smelled very inviting… so Billy told me!

But there were no snags at the half time break, just a quick drink and a stretch and off again.

We took a mostly urban route today, following road sides and paths. We had a couple of inviting alternate alleyways and water courses we could have taken, but we might take a peek at those another time. Theres one alley way we have found but haven’t used it yet so maybe that’s our next exploration… to see where it goes.

It was a nice casual walk with Billy today. Not much too exciting happened but Billy did find a tree that may have had a possum in it. I don’t question Billy’s nose with regards to possums. He buries his nose in the tree…then backs up with eyes on the main trunk and looks up high into the tree. Then goes back to the base, has another smell… yep there was a possum here recently… but where is it?

We both had a good look up into that tree but I couldn’t see anything… so we headed off.

The half time break was a standing start type of break. Billy was keen to keep going, so who am I to argue? So we headed for home. After searching the tree again and finding nothing we made our way home. Once again, Billy’s mum and dad were passing by so he got to see them again after our walk, so that was nice… and his mum and dad got to see a pooped Billy again!

Good Job mate…. Have a great weekend!
