05.03.15 Sammy
Sammy is a star pupil and fast becoming a more confident girl on our walks. She really loves her time out of the yard and her nose goes into hyper-drive! Lots of things to see, smell hear and do!
Sammy and I took the same route that we did on one of the days last week. I was heading for where we both knew where there were some noisy Dogs and alpacas, and sheep and horses… and the pond where I placed my rescued turtle the other week!
We cruised along pretty quick. Though we did stop to smell the roses a few more times than we should have. But that’s ok… that’s what they are there for!
We made it to where the noisy Dogs lived but they were probably inside as we didn’t see them. But that’s ok, as Sammy seemed to remember the place and was happy the noise-makers weren’t there! We said a quick hello to the alpacas, but they seemed busy.
The other week we went to the shops and had a sit, to watch all the comings and goings and all the people. Today we followed the foot path that shoppers take with trolleys and kids and the smells of food and all that stuff. Sammy wasn’t so sure about a trolley coming at her… but we walked by and got to a seat in the middle of it all.
Sammy is so cute. She wants to say hello to everyone, but sits close by me. We people watched for a little while and headed off along the pathway that people use. Sammy did very well.
So we headed for home and looked into more gardens and smelled more “roses” along the way. Sammy did really well on our walk today. When we stopped she would sit nicely, and she was walking pretty well on the lead. Well done Sammy… have a great weekend!
