12.03.15 Billy

Billy and I headed off into the warm sunshine and scooted along with no real destination in mind, but as we went along, I thought it would be nice to go and see if there were any possums about.

We crossed a nice open space and took advantage of all the shady trees. We even shaded up early in the walk on a request by Billy. I’m always happy to stop when needed, so we had a nice casual walk in store. Shady rests, checking out what was around and aiming for some possum trees!

Billy seems to know where all the possums live as he likes to return to the same few trees and stare intently treetop-ward! Despite the enthusiastic jumping and attempts at tree climbing (do you want a boost there Billy?!) I didn’t see any possums again today. But the trees where quite thick with leaves, so I had to trust to Billys nose on that one.

We stopped for a couple of drinks breaks and on the journey home Billy called for a nice long time out. We found a nice bit of cool grass and lazed about for a little while… Sweet! We took a little bit longer getting home than planned but that’s all good.

We slowly made it home and on our return he flopped in the shade and had a nice cool stretch out on the verandah. Have a good weekend…I hear you have some fun planned for the weekend… more rides in the ute!
