14.03.15 Fergus and Zara
Today I let Fergus and Zara have a sleep-in! but as you would imagine, they were there waiting for me when I arrived. They had that you’re late look on them at first but then it was all tail wags and hellos! Take us for a walk Mike!
So it was really nice to walk Fergus and Zara in daylight. We retraced our steps of our first walk… I wanted to see what the place really looked like! It was pretty cool. Lots of paths to follow and explore, so we’ll definitely be doing those over the next lil while.
It was nice to see where our footsteps were going too I might add. Though Fergus and Zara guided the way very well, so I was in safe paws! It was nice to see the open woodland the grassy understorey and have the birds awake and flittering about. A very pleasant way to spend a morning.
I’m not sure where the ‘roos all went but we saw far fewer than we stumbled across in the darkness. We did see a mob shading up under some trees and having a late breakfast. We also got to see and checkout all the rabbit holes about the path we took. Im glad we mostly stuck to paths as we could easily trip over in one!
Once again, we got to our halfway point and I busted out the treats. Fergus and Zara liked that idea and off we went again. We crunched our way along the gravelly tracks and headed home.
Although we weren’t really all that far away from home (as the crow flies), we still came home with a nice thirst built up and hanging out in the morning shade seemed like a great idea!
Well done again Fergus and Zara.
