15.03.15 Fergus and Zara

What a lovely morning for a walk in the local bushland with Fergus and Zara. It wasn’t so early as to be dark, but it was early enough to have the place to ourselves…well it’s Sunday afterall!

Today we headed off for the bushland park nearby and thought we’d trace our steps of the “night-time” walk we had but start at the end we didn’t make it to…just to see what was “around the next corner”!

We didn’t see any roos today, but that’s ok I got to see all the interpretive signs for the vegetation and the conservation works that have been going on. For Fergus and Zara it was probably old-hat, but I hadn’t seen all this before. Its nice to see that some locals are taking care of and revegetating the bushland park. I am betting the weed removal work was pretty big!

Fergus, Zara and I just toddled along the tracks and took in the scenery. We only had a limited time, so it might be good to bring some of my other team members here for a peek! Enter the park via the different access points!

For those that are interested. The park is very pleasant, lots of shade-speckled tracks. Its all weathered granite pathways, uneven in spots so its not a cycle or walking style pathway! So wear those boots you are trying to break in or the comfortable shoes.

Hopefully Fergus and Zara will show me around some more trails soon!
