16.03.15 Diesel

Diesel and I continued our sojourns to the Dog Park to keep working on recall. We worked pretty hard so it was nice to meet a nice and happy fur-friend.

Deisel and I headed back to the Dog park. I was hoping to get some hard work and concentration going and then just chill and play and hang out. Basically I walked around the edge of the park a fair few times. Diesel would walk trot and run ahead and beside me. At each corner of the park when he would look for me, I’d call him back… give him some celebratory pats and id send him off again.

We had done that for a while when someone turned up with what turned out to be a lovely friendly beagle about the same age as Diesel. Diesel cam and I hooked up his lead and we sat as quietly as we could. Tilly, the Beagle, came and said hello and Diesel was playing nice on the lead, so I let him off to play.

Tilly and Diesel had a great time chasing each other around and around and around! It was great to watch. Two strange “kids” playing well together. They were both as high energy as each other!

Diesel was very good and we sat and calmed a couple of times and then let off to play again… very hard work… if you know Diesel! But he did very well.

After Tilly left we played off lead again and walked back and forth to see if he’d stay within a relatively close proximity… which he did…!
