So today saw Diesel and I get a little more serious with recalls.

Equipped with bribes I was hoping to get Diesels attention when I wanted and the occasional snack treat would come out. Not every time he came… just more often than not! Diesel liked that!

Diesel isn’t a very food rewards kinda guy. Usually some play and bouncing about is all he likes. Which is cool. But I really wanted his attention today. He can get very distracted at times…but when he puts his mind to it, Diesel is a very clever boy

It almost worked too well actually. I couldn’t get Diesel to leave my side once the treats came out! But we did manage to walk up and down and up and down and criss crossed and circumnavigated the park with Diesel coming in for pats and random treats!

We actually worked pretty hard today. Diesel, in the end, was happy to shade up and have pats. So he got a bit of a challenge. It wasn’t all work… we wrestled and played on the agility apparatus at the Dog Park, so we had fun as well

Diesel did very well today…must remember more bribes… and not let Diesel see where I got them from in my bag… he was very focused on my bag for a while today! Funny lil guy! Good job today Diesel.
