18 .03. 15 Ji
Ji and I took a far more civilized route this afternoon… we stuck to the pathways and water courses… without the cats-eye thorns…Phew!
We headed off from home and took one of the main cycleways around the place. We climbed up a hill and got to see the sun lowering in the west. Today I was more interested in having a nice walk without any nasty burrs, so the sunset was a nice bonus!
We pretty much stormed up the hill and made our way to one of the starts of the watercourse that I like. It has a nice tree grove that is shaded and in the light of the sunset is just a nice place to be, walking with my mate Ji.
As usual Ji was all about the love again. We’d stop for pats here and there and he’d do his jump for joy! Then it was all back to business until the next pat-stop! Ji is such a fun guy to be around. His happiness is infectious and he had me laughing out loud several times this afternoon!
Today, he got airborne with excitement…sure…he is normally airborne when he does his horizontal summersaults… but this leap was out of nowhere from one end of the lead to the other…it was like I had a helium balloon on the end of the lead… where did Ji go! He wasn’t pulling on the lead or anything… it was just boxer butt in the air and a big grin… he cracks me up! How he even does that?...I have no idea!
It was awesome walking with you at the end of the day Ji… sleep well mate… I can hear you snoring from here!
