18.03.15 Zoe and Joe
Today Zoe, Joe and I did a double watercourse walk… but took the longway to get there!
Some days I have a plan for walking with Zoe and Joe. Today, I knew how I wanted to end (on a big hill!) and hadn’t really thought about the route. So we did a bit of a “Dog-breakfast” walk today. Sorta heading off in the wrong direction (there are no wrong directions in Dog walking! Every direction is AWESOME!) so we walked along a cycleway away from the destination, then looped back again for the nice climb along the watercourse.
I remembered the lesson from walking with Ji the night before, and stuck to one side of the watercourse to avoid the cats-eye thorns. We only had one puncture, but the Zoe, Joe and Mike walking machine had it out with barely a Pawse in our steps!
It was nice to be walking with Zoe and Joe up this watercourse again, we hadn’t been on it for a lil while now, so I was a bit excited to be back on it. Infact I was talking to Zoe and Joe and looking about everywhere, and being entertained by the antics of the neighbouring Dogs that I almost forgot to take pics… just as well we were heading to another park…. Must take pics!
We pretty much strode our way up the watercourse in pretty quick double-time. There was no real rush, but all my Dogs today seemed to be in a hurry… hey guys… don’t let me hold you back!
So we jumped into the second watercourse and just cruised along the middle of that one. Checking out galahs, magpies, and a brave cat along the way. Someone’s lil fur-friend had escaped and Zoe and Joe wanted to say hello but we were now on a mission to see how far we could get up this new trail.
Once again, Zoe and Joe just churned out the kilometres today… I have no idea how I keep up! Phew! Great job guys!
