Neo is another new recruit to the team! She is another of my team that have the makings of a long distance walker!

Neo is another of my team, where due to timing issues, I wasn’t able to meet up with her before our first walk. So it was a case of, ‘…Hi Neo! I’m Mike, lets go for a walk!’

I am always very careful when I have to meet a new friend. Neo was a little worried at first, but she was all over me for pats and belly rubs within no time! So much for “guard-Dog” Neo!

So we made our introductions and put the lead on and away we went! Neo, like amny of my team have some great walks to explore and play on. The walk we did today was to one of my favourite waterholes. Its at the end of one of the cycle paths, so we made great time along the nearly flat walkway. The reward at the end is a nice, relatively safe and accessible water hole.

The waterhole is not too hard to get to, and there are shallow riffles to walk and splash in, slightly deeper wading spots and then deep swimming for the more adventurous. I am sure Neo has been here before, but it’s the first time I have been able to bring one of my team here!
