21.03.15 Max and Roger
It’s been so long since I got to walk with Max and Roger…so it was a boys-club walk this morning. We got to go a bit crazy and covered some k’s in the mean time!
Max and Roger can be very boisterous boys, but once we settled in we went pretty well. We had a fair few distractions along the way, but we got by and kept on going.
Todays plan was to trace the “new” cycleways I had found with Rosie a lil while back. I kinda knew they were there, but didn’t know the streets they all linked. Its quite a nice easy walk really. Take the family for a walk or ride…It’d be pretty short if you ride but its worth a look.
Max and Roger can rack up the k’s quick when they want to so if we smashed out the k’s too quick I had an escape plan to walk us even further. But as it was we did pretty well with no need for the extra loop…thank goodness!
I wanted to see how my two big mates went with alpacas and horses so we were to take a peek and say hello.
Max and Roger didn’t quite know what to make of the alpacas… one was coming up and being territorial… so between the two of them they were a lil worried. We didn’t make it to the horses…they had moved paddocks.
What was fun though…was I knew that Max and Roger liked the cattle we saw ages ago…but I didn’t know they liked ducks and egrets! That was very exciting for us all! I thought we were all going for a swim! It was the same pond that I released that turtle I found while walking with Sam…
So after the excitement of the bird life the alpacas and some noisey fru-friends we headed for home. We were all very pooped and thirsty boys when we got home, so I reckon that was a job well done! Nice to see you again boys!
