22.03.15 Ji

Ji was the final walk of the day, and it’s always nice to see the sun set in the west and have a bouncy happy boxer leading the way.

I thought I’d try and take it easy on us both this afternoon…well, easy on me, by trying to keep the hills to a minimum. Which is sorta possible from Ji’s place but we gave up in the end and just went where our noses took us. Well Ji’s nose…he led the way.

Once again Ji’s enthusiasm is infectious and we rocketed along. We went up one of my favourite watercourses for a peek in the afternoon sunlight. We stuck to the paths this time so it was pretty easy going and no thorns to watch out for.

We got to a certain point and I decided that we should head all the way back down the watercourse and maybe even jump the road to loop across the watercourse below us. But light and time were slipping away. Though in our eagerness to take a peek at the other watercourse, we had no walked to the bottom of a nice steep hill. D’oh!

Ji’s effervescence never really waned. He was a bouncy as ever and happy to be out in the sunsetty shadows. He was also happy to play in some lawn sprinklers…again. I don’t know if he does it coz he likes it…or for the laughs I get when he bounds around and gets soaked! Silly boy!

So we slogged it up the last lil hill and made it home just in time for Dinner again… perfect!
