Scarlett has been a very busy girl lately, so I haven’t had the chance to see her. Today though we went for a great walk all along the river. Very nice!

Scarlett has been off to do some shows, she had a new hair-do today, so I hope she did well. She also had a sore paw so she had to rest up a little before we could take a walk.

We headed off along the walkway and Scarlett’s foot didn’t seem to be troubling her at all. Though, Scarlett is a pretty tough girl, I kept an eye on how she was travelling. But all seemed good. I doubt she would have complained either way!

We made our way along the cycleway and as we did, we met a few members of Scarlett’s family. I was wondering how all these people knew her name! Very popular girl! We went under the bridge and past the windmill all the way to one of my favourite waterholes. We didn’t go in today as I wanted to keep her feet from any icky things in the wet mud!

So instead, we made it all the way to the end of the cycleway. I offered Scarlett a drink, but she’s never thirsty when on the road. Instead, she likes to get right into my face to say hello! She’s such a funny girl! Yes Scarlett…I like you too!

After a brief rest in the shade we headed toward home. As usual, we made such good time on the return, that we headed in the opposite direction along the cycleway upstream! We saw some joggers and cyclists, and Scarlett loved seeing the kids playing and running about in the parks. Such a social girl.
