I was able to take Bella and Teddy out for a walk today. My little-legged steam trains just powered along.

Bella, Teddy and I are still checking out how far we can go and doing “reckies” of the area that they live in so we can take short cuts and crazy backstreet loops in our walks. Today we jumped on a cycleway in the opposite direction that we took the other day. I wanted to see where we could end up and see if we could make some kind of loop towards home.

We made really good time so we poked our noses along some streets I had no Idea where they led to! Bella and Teddy were keen to keep going, but I actually didn’t know where this street led, so I chickened out and we went back the way we came for a little bit.

We did however explore the roadside walking up past where we crossed earlier so then making a weird Figure 8 with our walking route. Bella and Teddy didn’t seem to mind if I was lost for a bit. They were happy enough scooting about outside in the sunshine.

At one point as we were walking along a cycleway, we walked up very close to some pigeons, and just as I was thinking…wow, I know a certain Dog (no names Phil) that would love to get this close… when both Bella and Teddy started chasing them! Funny fur-kids! As always, we didn’t have a hope of catching any (I was sand-bagging them!), so everyone was happy!

I have noticed that Bella and Teddy like magpies too… so I had two happy fur-kids out there today!

As I said, Bella and Teddy powered out another good few kilometres again today… and yet again were keen on some fetch when we got home (What do I have to do to poop these two out!?)… two lil balls of energy they are! Good job Bella and Teddy!
