26.03.15 Billy
Today Billy and I stretched out our legs along some grassy paths, a cycleway and then did a couple of laps of a park. Very nice!
Billy and I started off just following our noses. I sort of had a plan, and Billy didn’t seem to mind which way we went. I did ask but at the first junction of the day, he was too busy taking in some interesting scents.
We had to walk past a few dogs in their yards today and I always love seeing my boy Billy get all confident and tough…Tail almost vertical, ears up and his confident strut… walking like he’s the boss… Which I imagine he pretty much is around here!
We walked along one of my favourite groves of trees then jumped onto a cycleway. There is a lot for people and Dogs using this path, so Billy was checking out who had been by.we still motored along and when we got to one of the big parks scattered about the place I thought it’d be nice to do a lap or two.
After the rain yesterday, there were a couple of grassy pools of water left over. Billy can’t resist a pool of water so he went in and got his feet wet, so he was happy with that.
We also spent a few stops and even a couple of sit-down stops to share some pats! We missed out on our first walk of the week so Billy must have missed me. He was bailing me up for pats a lot! When he does it only every few steps I sit down and we have a good look around and ear and back scratches. So much for Mr Tough Guy!
Billy is such a great Dog to be around he really enjoys his walks and of course, loves to stop me for pats and scratches… a very nice way to spend time! Thanks Billy!
