Diesel was awesomes today! And by awesome’s I mean LOTS of awesomes! This may have been one of his best efforts yet!

So today we mixed it up a bit. We went to a totally new wide open park and then went to the Dog Park. The new park was new for both of us I think. Lots of sports fields to practice our skills. I like taking Diesel to open parks with few distraction as he gets to run around like the crazy boy he is,but then we do direction changes and he follows…still at a distance, but follows the right direction with me just calling and pointing…

He’s so good!

We did a whole bunch of direction changes and he regularly looks at me to see what I’m up to. And when called we have a play and a wrestle. He must have had a work out today as the last few call-backs we did, he just looked up at me as if to say…. Too pooped to wrestle!

Its great to see Diesel, running about like the crazy boy we know and love… but he really does try very hard. Even when some school kids walked by in the middle of direction changes he said hello and then ran on by!

After the awesome effort at the big park… we went over to the Dog Park and did the same on a smaller scale. We did countless laps and zig-zags and he came to play when asked… not always on the first go… but for our little guy…it was an awesome effort!

Diesel, it was so much fun running about like two crazy people today… see you again soon….
