30.03.15 Scarlett
Then the late afternoon, I got to spend with Scarlett. The grey clouds were gathering and spits of rain spattered about… but we managed to stay dry.
Scarlett and I did a nice big loop today. We cut through some alleyways, walked through some of my favourite tree groves, crossed the road, walked along a cycleway, crossed another very busy road (we seemed to stand there forever!) and then we dived down into a watercourse.
It’s probably been a while since Scarlett and I had been down this watercourse together, so it was nice to share the views, the nice grassy walkway and see some horses.
Scarlett was fun to walk today. Like a lot of my team, we share some pat-stops and scratch-breaks. One of my team actively bails me up for pats! Scarlett doesn’t quite stop me, but she watches me for a little while as we walk. We share some pats and away we go again.
On the way down the watercourse, there were the stops and starts to rain drops, but it just didn’t quite make it to rain fall. We scooted out of the watercourse, crossed the road by passing through the tunnel and then followed the cycleway. It was really trying to rain, the cars passing by had their wipers on, but we had barely enough to wet our coats!
Along the way Scarlett suddenly stopped, sat down and lifted a paw…I’mlike…wassup? Scarlett is like… catseye! It was quite a difficult one too… right up bewtween the toes…ouchy! But Scarlett is tough and put up with me digging about for it! She’s such a great girl!
Its so nice having Scarlett back for our late afternoon walks…she’s such a great girlto chat with and have a look around! See you next time Scarlett!
