Copper and I covered so much ground in our backstreet shuffle today, that we had time to steam out along the country roadside Copper lives nearby!

Today I had a plan to just do a couple of loops around the area Copper lives. He’s a very good walker as his usual walks sometimes involve runs! So we set off at a more steady pace. We passed a few places with noisy dogs and one was even out of its yard so that got exciting for a bit! It always surprises me that owners yell at their dogs when they get loose! To a dog that’s excitement! So lets keep getting excited Sigh!

Copper and I kept marching along as we had a bit of a mission. The backstreet shuffle around he gets me confused as one street loops on another so inevitably I end up on an intersection going …now what street is this Copper? He lets it be a surprise for me!

So I got us out on the country road eventually and we had plenty of time to spare, so there was nothing for it except to kick it out along the road. Copper always seems to enjoy his time out of the yard. Theres always things to sniff and explore, noisy dogs to pass by and we evenh saw a whole bunch of kids out playing on scooters and skateboards. And if you know Copper and his love for them, then you know he just wanted to get involved!

Along the roadside we didn’t get to see the cattle, sheep and horses about. Maybe they went on Easter break too? Even the grasshoppers were chasing a few walks back have all gone away for the winter!

We made it home again, just in time to have a quick play with his skateboard and it was dinner time.
