Rosie is a machine! You can’t walk too far nor play too many rounds of fetch. I think Rosie still holds the record sprint for the longest distance in the shortest time!
Rosie is always pleased to see me. We have worked together a few times (which is never enough!) and we can really cover some ground with our little legs!
Today I had a bit of a mission to walk and check out a watercourse that has a big pond at the end. The other day I saw ducks on it and wanted to see if it was still waterlogged. Its always nice to see the birdlife taking advantage of the new ponds and giant puddles in paddocks and watercourses.
We made our way down a watercourse that we have explored a couple of times now. It only had the smallest of trickles left still flowing. It was kind of nice to listen to as we walked along. We disturbed a few bird along the way but Rosie is more interested in speeding along than listening to frogs and watching birds!
Rosie and I made it to the last pond before the river (of this watercourse) but it was pretty empty. A few persistent ducks and egrets still hanging about but it was pretty empty. The frogs were still going crazy. Very happy frogs out there today!
After taking in the view, we headed for home. I was going to see if we could include using another alleyway, but I didn’t know where it ended up and we were running on a tight schedule… maybe next time we catch up we can explore that walkway Rosie!
It was great to see you again Rosie and be reminded of just what a massive ball of fun and energy you are!
