Isn’t this Dog Walking thing Fun!? Billy took me on a walk that I hadn’t thought of doing before...! We connected a couple of loops we do reasonably regularly…and stormed around the whole thing with ease!

The next walk I do with Billy will see us having walked over 320km together! Betcha didn’t think we’d walk that far, did you mate!? I won’t tell Billy, just incase he thinks we need to back off a bit!

Like all my Dogs…I let Billy call the shots at times. Sometimes it’s a choice of a direction, or a place to linger longer on a scent, or a rest stop. Billy is one of my team that is deceptively very affectionate. Billy is all about the love sometimes.

Today was one of those times!

As you know, Billy will stop me for pat breaks! Sometimes we don’t get very far before he wants more… and sometimes we stop repeatedly in a short distance! When Billy asks for repeated stops I usually take the hint and we sit down, take in the view, have a look around and share a pat or three!

So even though Billy has smashed out almost 320 km, sometimes it’s a plod, sometimes it’s a jog and other times the kilometres just speed by!

Even though we shared the love… we still managed to walk further that our average…. So go figure!?
