Today I was hoping to at least put a small dent in the energy levels of Zoe and Joe. We did a loop that involved a nice hill climb at the end… result… two mostly pooped Boxers!

Did you know that Zoe and Joe have done almost 340km in our walks? I still don’t believe it!

Zoe, Joe and I headed off down the hill along the cycleway, and then we were going to head down a water course and maybe see some horses. Though most of the horses were in another paddock, a horse and rider came by and crossed the road ahead of us. As you could imagine Joe was very keen to make sure they passed by without any shenanigans. Zoe didn’t seem to mind that much!

Lately it’s been hard to get happy snaps of Miss Zoe…very camera shy at the moment. She is very preoccupied with the myriad of scents along our walks. Joe on the other hand has been very happy to pose for shots!

So we made our way down the watercourse, there was a lil soakage we walked through so we got wet feet, but nothing too major. Along the way there is a garden that at times has a duck or two. None today, but there was evidence that they had been there… just ask Zoe… she soon found out they were not too far away!

We scooted along the roadside and then started up the hill. Zoe and Joe were putting me to shame with their high energy quick-steps, but we all made it to the top just fine. Joe didn’t call for some rest breaks until a little later…but that’s ok…I wanted them too!

I did manage to take a couple of nice pics of Zoe and Joe in the autumn leaves… so at least one set of pics came out!

By the time we made it back to the pathway home, we were all still pretty energetic. As soon as I opened the gate, both Zoe and Joe plodded to the water bucket…it was so funny… speedy one second and all tired and thirsty as soon as they saw the water bucket!

It’s always great to walk with my Boxer friends… good job Zoe and Joe!
