13.04.15 Binji
Binji is such a little trooper! We just motor around the streets of Bathurst at a pretty good skip…those lil legs just going along like a little machine!
Binji has a bit of a regular set of loops that he walks around so today we pretty much kept to the streets Binji knows. In a little while we will add a couple extra streets or go in different loops than he may be used to.
We are a little bit limited at some turns, as Binji isn’t a fan of grass! Could you imagine a little guy, with little legs walking in wet grass, so close to the ground!? You’d be saturated in the first few minutes! So its actually quite a clever plan to stay dry…and who wants to be wet and cold with winter coming!?
So for the most part we keep our feet dry by sticking to nice pathways…no complaints from me Binji! But we do get around. With each street we do, I have been noting some of the paved backstreets and sneaky laneways that we might be able to venture down. I’m quite looking forward to that. Isn’t it funny, when you have lived somewhere for a while and you know where things are…but you don’t know the street!? So Binji and I are brushing up on our street localities…very educational.
Binji is a happy little guy though, he doesn’t seem to mind “the new guy” too much. He is always finding lots to investigate and explore. He seems very interested in gardening, as some of my team are…but, as he is so small he can quickly disappear into the bushes! He comes out, tail-a-waggin’.
So with all this walking we have been doing I am sure a nice nap and a lazy day at home with mum is a pretty good idea!
