Scarlett has been giving me great welcomes lately! She is a very well behaved girl, polite and well mannered, but she always gives me a chatty hello and a small leap up to say hello. Yes Scarlett, you probably should jump up…but its good to see you too!

Last week Scarlett and I helped a lost-girl get home. Scarlett was very patient and calm, I am sure the lil lost-girl was a bit scared of us…but we all did well. So today I thought we’d head off to the back of beyond to the end of the cycle way. Hopefully no lost puppies out that way. Plus, the sunsets have been nice out here, so a walk into a sunset would be just the thing we both needed to end the day!

Scarlett is such a great girl! Have I mentioned that she participates in shows? She is a great looking girl, but she also gets to play with her family out in the yard, in the open paddocks nearby or on walks. Sometimes she has grass and burrs and other “stickies” that you get from going off the beaten path. Sometimes we’ll sit and watch the walkers go by and I’ll pull out the odd burr as we have a chat!

We followed the cycleway out to the pool that I like, but we didn’t get time for a swim, but we did see the cool sunset along the way. There were a lot of families out on the cycleway today. Lots of kids enjoying the holidays. So Scarlett got to see

By the time we got home it was starting to get dark. Everyone along the way had disappeared home and there were cooking smells wafting over the pathway… ooh, dinner, theres a great idea Scarlett…
