Shadow and Molly are another addition to the team. We may get to see them occasionally, as they have sorted out their families walkers, and sometimes give them a day off!

Shadow is a very big boy! He is a long-haired German Shepherd, who is a very good guard Dog! I am glad we met with his Dad around as Shadow is very protective of his family and his lil sister Molly. Though, after a little while of checking me out, Shadow is a big softy!

I still wouldn’t want to find myself in Shadows yard without permission!

Molly is a cutie…much younger than Shadow and although a German Shepherd, she is all white. Some may know her as a Swiss Shepherd? She is a very happy girl and loves to play as well as take the lead! It’s very funny watching these two walk together… each trying to get in front of the other!

Todays walk was to be simply a get to know you walk. So we didn’t really go too far, but we got to walk along the river, so that’s always a nice way to start the day. We started off in a lifting mist and it was quite cool at this time of morning.

Shadow and Molly are very high energy and need a bit of practice to have a nice walk and a good look around. They get very excited when other Dogs are around and sometimes get very distracted by the scents of various critters that might visit the river. So it was a bit of a process to have a steady walk…lots of distractions.

Hopefully we will be able to cover much much more ground together. See you next time team!
