Today Zoe and Joe added to our repertoire of loopy walks by cobbling together yet another set of loops we could take into one big one.

I don’t know if you remember?, but Zoe and Joe live near a park (amongst many) that has a million off-shoots. Even if you just circumnavigate the convolutions, you have a pretty nice walk!

So today we headed for one of the convolutions that tops out on a hill that has some nice views out to the west. Then we dived down to a well used back street shuffle that a lot of locals would use. In fact I got the idea from Billy and it adds just a little bit more to a loop we do use.

Along the way, as ever, my two boxers are on the lookout… joe, for suspicious activity…like…say… an overturned shopping trolley (really Joe, its just a trolley!). ‘…haey Mike, don’t panic…it’s just a shopping trolley… hey look…what are those galahs doing!?’, and off we’d go! Zoe as always is scenting everything that may have passed by our route… so she sometimes doesn’t get what Joe is on about either!

We stopped for several rolls in some nice green, wet grass, so you know I was amused! Joe feigned a couple of rolls just to take a rest… yes Joe, I am onto you…remember…we’ve done this a few times! But as Joe knows…I am a sucker for rolling Boxer twins!

We did end up getting back on track, followed a roadside path and then dived back down a watercourse. Depending on our speed we had a couple of options on how to reach home. We ended up having to take the short cut home…so we definitely did some k’s today.
