14.04.15 Billy
Today Billy and I had a relaxing flat walk! No hills to scale up and down…all flat going. So it was an easy Tuesday walk for the two of us!
We basically did one of our staple loops with a sneaky lap or two of an oval. Billy is always easy to please. He got to check out the boundary fence of one of the remnant vegetation reserves twice! Just in case he missed anything that came or went in and out of the reserve.
I’m sure there are a lot of comings and goings from the reserve and I am sure Billy found a couple of Possum scents in there somewhere!
As it was Tuesday “Hug-Billy-Day”, Billy is always about the love. We stopped for the usual pats and scratches but also took time out under the shade of some brightly coloured autumn leaves in the trees and got to stretch out in the yellow and orange fallen leaves. Billy picked the two pit stops we made…must…have…more…ear-scratches!
So we got to walk under a few nice shady trees, walk in the bright sunshiny day and take in the sights and smells along the way. Not a bad way to spend the time.
With the cooler weather Billy was looking like he could do another lap when I left him today. Sometimes Billy is like…come and I’ll show you how I worry my favourite piece of rope…but you just know he shades-up and naps the afternoon away… today he was full of beans…
Next time Billy… well take some hills on…that’ll fix you! See you next time Billy!
