15.04.15 Bella and Teddy

Its been a week or two since I got to see my fur-friends Bella and Teddy, but they had a great welcome for me when I arrived today!

Bella and Teddy are another of my team members with little legs. That’s not so bad…compared to other people I have little legs too! So you just know we get along just fine!

We have a bit of excitement at first but then we knuckle down and remember not to try and drag me along! Teddy is always keen to get ahead, but we settle into a nice mile munching jog…little legs a-whirring!

We crossed a main road (practicing a nice ordered walk) and there were cars and buses and even a Dog crossing in the opposite direction…so we did pretty well.

I was aiming for one of the cycleways and see how far we could skip along there, before we had to make our way home. We did stop in the shade of a tree for a little while and both Bella and Teddy convinced me that we should keep going! So we did!

It was pretty sunny out there today so rest breaks weren’t such a bad idea. We walked along the cycleway past a point I thought was a good place to head back and we stopped again under some trees for a break. Again though the dynamo duo were keen to keep going!

We walked a bit further along the cycleway in the opposite direction as Bella and Teddy were eating up the k’s …still! But we turned around and headed for home.

We were marching along and I offered a shady-tree stop and Bella looked at me, looked at the shade and then flopped down for a rest! Teddy, the crazy little man wanted to keep going, but when I sat down to share some pats and scratches with Bella, he thought that it was a pretty good idea to join in of the pats and scratches!

We did make it home…and despite bella calling for a rest break…as soon as the leads were off, she dived into her pool, had a drink, got her ball and wanted to play fetch…. So it mustn’t have been quite a big enough work out after all… I’ll remember that for next time!
