15.04.15 Binji
I met Binji today at our allotted time…on the dot! Binji likes punctuality! He’s such a funny lil guy!
Binji and I have already set a nice casual routine. He is always happy to see anyone that takes him for his walk, and is very eager to hit the road…no idle chit-chat, let’s get going! So we head out with Binji setting a nice pace.
I may have mentioned he is a very steady walker, his little legs going at a fair few strides a minute. He checks out his territory and makes sure everything is in its right place! I have been stepping it up as far as picking different routes and Binji has been mostly appreciative. He does wonder why I take the more circuitous routes at times, but he lets me get away with it!
Today we zigged and zagged and part of the walk was further along the busy road nearby. We headed up along that way then took to the roadside (remember Benji isn’t so keen on wet grass …very sensible if you have short legs!) until we met with some paths and nice autumnal splashed trees that we saw the other day. Now we were back in familiar territory, Binji was more relaxed and just strutted his stuff again!
Binji is a great little guy…he’s a little nugget! Nice and strong for a little lad but he walks really well on his lead. Has very nice manners and doesn’t get too flustered around other dogs. He was worried about my final street selection (it was in the opposite direction to home!), but we only poked along for a bit to see where it went.
Maybe another time…?
It has been great having our little walks. Very relaxing and time to chill. Good work Binji…and you are racking up the k’s lil mate!
