17.04.15 Diesel
Diesel and I have been working hard on dealing with distractions. The show was in town, so you don’t get much more colour and movement than that!
Diesel and I packed ourselves off to the big park we sometimes do a work-out in. Today, though we headed in the opposite direction to the river. We managed to park a fair way from the crowds, so we’d have a nice quiet exit. Diesel and I headed off into the madness!
Lots of people were parked on this side of the river so when we got to the bridge there were lots of people coming and going. The noise form the Show included some cattle that were going in the competitions. So we went and took a peek.
Diesel is always a very calm boy when he needs to be. So we sat and watched some entrants doing some laps in the back yards. A couple of cows noticed us so we eased away, just in case they got nervous…and off we went.
We haven’t crossed busy roads for a long while and there were lots and lots of people and road traffic so we crossed back and forth just to see how we’d go. Diesel did really well, but it was pretty exciting so we crossed one last time and headed for the peace of the big park
Along the quiet pathway, we stopped for some pats and scratches and we were all good again for the ride home. Good job today Diesel!
