Timmi, Pippa and I were taking our second walk together, so we are still getting to know each other. Both Timmi and Pippa are great little dogs and always love a walk.

Today I was dodging rain showers and I was lucky enough to arrive at Timmi and Pippa’s place as a shower stopped. Phew… I had already been out in the rain today!

Today Pippa was very excited to get out and go for a walk. The other day she was still a little hesitant around the new guy, but she was having fun soon after we left! I was relieved to see her all bouncy and excited, at least she likes me enough to go for a walk with now. Timmi, well, he’s an old hand at this walking thing, so he was no sweat at all!

Timmi and Pippa are in an area that I don’t know many of the backstreets and alleyways, so we will get to explore them all together. There is a very large watercourse, (one of my favourites) near-by so we’ll get to go in and out of that one on our little-legged walks!

Today we were just ambling about finding a few more alleyways and where they went. We went down one and came out in the park, then went a little way along the watercourse and back to another street I did know. Then we followed the streets around and about. I didn’t want to scare Timmi off…he likes a well trodden path. He did seem to enjoy the grassy section we did jog across. Pippa was a ball of energy today. Going this way and that, and coming back for random pats! So she had fun! I am sure she covered twice the distance Timmi and I walked as she went from one side to the other!

We took a peek at more backstreets and then made our way home. The past few days have been pretty awful with rain and wind and cold temperatures. We pretty much lucked out with the rain, and for most of the way we had a tail wind, but the slog home was into the wind. Little legs were working hard and we made it home all happy and maybe even a little pooped!
