23.04.15 Mia and Petra
Mia and Petra are another of my team members that have their itineraries all planned out for them, but again, sometimes I am lucky enough to fill in on a walk here and there.
Todays walk was to be a nice short warm-up walk to start the day with so we were all ready and rearing to go. We hooked up the harnesses and leads and off we went to see what was going on in and around the streets where Petra and Mia live.
We started off by heading down a nice little parkway…well, that is after I got lost looking for it. Petra and Mia didn’t seem to mind the quick back-track and we were on our way. We took in the view that the little parkway offers. There was still a little mist in the river valley, but it had mostly burned off.
We looped around on a backstreet shuffle and then up a nice little alleyway that has its own garden and bench for resting. It’s a very nice spot. The alleyway leads up to a main road that has a nice walk along the top of the hill, and by nice I mean flat! With so many hills around its hard not to have to walk up and down at least a few, even in a short walk.
We headed back along the roadside, down the alleyway and off towards home and a good rest.
It’s always great to see you guys again… don’t be strangers!
