When I drove to Muriels place this morning, there was mist in the valley, almost all the way to the mountains. Just a great time to be up and about…to see the sun peeking through!

Once again, Muriel has had another busy week of walks so we checked in to plan out what walk we would do today. We headed off up the hill with a walk along the watercourse, then along a roadside on the foot path, then join the cycleway back down another road.

The walk at this time of morning sees some traffic on the roads of the early-birds heading to work and by the time we met up with the watercourse there was some foot and paw traffic heading out and about. We said some brief hellos and kept on our way. The park was very busy today, and Muriel was making sure everyone was behaving.

We made it to the top of the watercourse and saw more walkers as we turned off along the top of the hill. From there we pretty-much had the pathway to ourselves and we scooted along at a nice rate of knots with the run down hill. We made such good time again that I had to add another small loop in the backstreets near Muriels place and we headed for home. Muriel must have had a work0ut as she had a nice big drink, but she didn’t crash out on her sunny spot mattress…well not while I was there!
