29.04.15 Zoe and Joe
Zoe, Joe and I are continuing our orientation to their new area by sticking to one circuit, before we start exploring too many others!
Zoe and Joe are two awesome dogs. They have such a great friendly nature, and for two big Dogs working as a team…they are very accepting and forgiving of noisy fur friends. Once again today, Zoe, Joe and I have to run the gauntlet of the “Tunnels of Dogs” and it amazes me how very angry and unpleasant the other dogs are, yet Zoe and Joe just say hello, wag their tails and off they go! I’m very proud of them for that!
Zoe and Joe are settling in to their new surrounds. We are taking the same route each walk for a little while and see how we go. I recently joked that they were too excited to poop…! Well…that’s not so much an Issue now for Joe…everything is back to normal for him!LOL!
We still haven’t blasted out the kilometres that we normally would, so we are still taking it easy. We explore as many nooks and crannies as we can and do a loop of the river walk. Zoe and Joe are having a ball, and seeing lots of new things. They especially liked the cormorant diving and surfacing and diving again. That held our attention for a while…why not, I was enjoying the cormorants fishing skills…I hope it was eating carp!
The riverside walk, as I said before, is a great way to meet lots and lots of people and a fair few Dogs. We are still a bit too excited to say hello to everyone, but we do say hello to a few people. Joe especially likes to keep an eye on everyone at the best of times, so you just know he is on the case of everyone in the park! He’s so funny! Yes Joe, I see that person aaaal the way over there on the other side of the river…! It’s just a person walking…oh…alright then… I see cormorants!
So we have lots of stop offs for looks and smells and the sounds of the river rushing by with the higher water and all the birdlife. I’d say a few more visits and we will be able to do some loops around the place. I think Zoe and Joe will like it at theiur new place…always something new around the corner!
Good job again today guys…see you soon!
