Today Timmi and Pippa did a big loop around home that saw us finding some great new linking alleyways!

Timmi and Pippa are two of my team with short legs but we are slowly building on the distances we walk each time we set off. Pippa is a ball of excited energy who loves every step and enjoys her time out. Timmi is much more reserved, but today even he seemed to enjoy himself with the walk we did and didn’t show too many signs of being too pooped.

I mentioned before that Timmi and Pippa live central to a range of big loopy walks and some lead to a nice watercourse. There are probably too many nasty thorns for Timmi, but we have ventured out onto the parkland without too much worry.as the watercourse is located in the middle of a built up area there are…so I find out…lots of alleyways that bisect street after street and link from one to another. Its great just finding a cul-de-sac and seeing where the laneway takes you.

We did that a couple of times today and saw some other alleyways and routes that might be fun to explore some time.

One of the fun things about walking with Timmi and Pippa is the high energy levels of Pippa. She does more kilometres than maybe Timmi and I combined! All her zigs and zags surely must add to her kilometres! In travelling so far and checking out all that area, she is bound to come across fun things. She did manage to find a ball! So we played soccer with that up one street. Timmi just looked at us funny, But Pippa was very happy to chase and fetch chase and fetch as we went! Funny Girl.

One thing I am having trouble with is getting pics of my new team members. The look down shots only show Timmi and Pippa walking on yet another piece of grass… so I will have to be more creative. Getting down on the same level as Timmi and Pippa seems to be the way to do it… Plus we get to hang and share pats and scratches.

We made our way back home after our big loopy walk and Timmi didn’t seem too pooped this time…Pippa was her bouncy self and we played some fetch again…theres no stopping her!

Good walking again today guys…lots of new nooks and crannies to look into later!
