Bella and Teddy were a ball of energy again today, so I had a bit of a plan to stretch those lil legs out on our walk today.

I wasn’t too sure about the weather holding out for us today as there were darkish clouds around the place. I packed a rain jacket just in case. Bella and Teddy are a pair of tough cookies so I wasn’t too worried about getting stuck out there in a down pour.

Bella and Teddy live in an area where we can hit the cycleways up and down the river, stop by for a swim, or as we did today explore the backstreets nearby. On a walk with Timmi and Pippa recently I found some great little short cut alleyways that actually make for interesting walking as well as lead to one of my favourite watercourses and of course down to the cycleways as well.

I basically picked the biggest loop we could do without having to backtrack on ourselves then found the couple of new alleyways, linked up with the western edge of the watercourse, back up through another alleyway and back by some pleasant roadside walking amongst the burbs.

Bella and Teddy are a fun pair to walk. Everything is exciting and they are always happy to investigate anything that crosses their path. There were a few noisy fur-friends that we passed along the way, and Teddy is always very interested in saying hello. Bella doesn’t mind either way but I try to keep the show moving along.

Today I managed to keep Bella out of the mud and we covered lots of ground as well. The game of fetch was very brief with both my lil-legged team members showing some small signs of being pooped…but I am sure they recovered quickly!
