12.05.15 Timmi and Pippa
Today, Timmi, Pippa and I just marched on out and conquered some more miles!
As you know, it always makes me smile with the welcomes I get from my team members when they see me. Some are on to me by the sound of my car, others can hear my footsteps down the path, they might keep a sharp eye out on their street as a general rule or…they get a nice surprise when I sneak up on them.
There doesn’t seem to be any sneaking up on Timmi and Pippa! Timmi seems to be the one on alert for any goings on in the street. He is usually at the gate before I am out of the car! He gives and uncertain bark and a tail wag, ‘…I think I know that car…’. Then Pippa takes a peek and she just starts bouncing now. Funny girl!~ I think she recognises my voice already as I call out their names…then Timmi realizes who it is and then the tails start wagging, Pippa bounces some more, and Timmi wants to be first to say hello!
I have mentioned the routine we have and once that’s over we head off. Timmi is very focused and tells Pippa and I to stop messing about, and away we go.
Timmi and Pippa are great little walkers! we took a big loop away from home and once again we pretty much bolted around it. Timmi didn’t protest too much and even let me take him on some grassy sections. Pippa as always is skittering and flittering about, covering more k’s than she needs… but that’s just Pippa. Yet she still arrives home ready for endless games of fetch!
Timmi likes to walk where its nice and clear, and Pippa doesn’t really seem to mind where she walks, so we can scoot along at a pretty good speed. We get to see and hear a lot of dogs in the neighbourhood and Timmi wants to say hello… but I remind him that he might need to cross some grass to get to them, and then he just walks on… Funny boy!
Today Pippa was looking back at me a lot…I’d encourage her and she’d trot along some more. We have quite the team going now…all I have to work on now, is tiring Pippa out! See you both next time, for another tiring walk!
