14.05.15 Billy
Billy and I walked out under a patchy sunny sky… but wasn’t that wind cold!?
Having been out side for most of the day already, I visited Billy all nicely rugged up with my brightly coloured wind-proof jacket. Billy seemed like he was ready for a walk, regardless of the weather. We said our hellos and off we went.
Today we jumped down a watercourse and only followed the fencline walk for a little while. I had planned to do the walk we did a lil while back that took in another of my favourite watercourses. Its kind of a convoluted walk, but walking it, it’s quite an easy walk with no big up hills or down again
As always Billy bailed me up for lots of pats and we had a few stops today one on a hillside with a view another in a big open spaced garden and then a sit down just before home again. Billy always likes to take time out and share the view, and I imagine as the case may have been today… to use me as a wind break! Good one Billy. But the view and the sunshine and the partly blue sky was pretty sweet… well they were Billy’s words… he didn’t have much else to say.
So after the bro-mance with a view we passed a whole bunch of kids outside, all rugged up and doing the hokey-pokey! Billy was entranced for a little while. All these lil munchkins singing and dancing in the cold sunshine, He stopped a couple of times when there was squeaking and squarking of the kids having fun!
We headed across to another watercourse and watched lots of magpies. A few were interested in what we were up to, but most kept to the business of catching bugs worms and grubs. Other than that it was actually pretty quiet, everywhere we walked we had the place mostly to ourselves. We walked along a roadside for a while then crossed over to the park and did a loop to take a peak at the monster “pond” that we have been keeping an eye on. I have no idea what they are up to… we’ll just have to wait and see!
So after a quick squizz at the earth works we headed for the watercourse home. We were both rugged up for the weather so it was pretty nice out, and I reckon the company was pretty good. Have a great weekend Billy!
