16.05.15 Zoe and Joe

I know I bang on about Zoe and Joe being awesome… but… Zoe and Joe are awesome!

As usual we had to run the tunnel-o-dog with all its noise and even down-right aggression…and Zoe and Joe walk by…no barking no jumping, just tail wags and a wish to make new friends… they really do try and they are really patient… but we have to scoot by as its just too noisy in the tunnel!

We headed off over the little foot bridge and along the levee. It was just a nice sunny morning and we didn’t’ even need jumpers…I was back to my shorts so it was very pleasant indeed.

Zoe and Joe seem to be settling in to their home area. Sure there are less distractions down this section of the river, and we are still working on the busy riverside park… but we were pretty much back to normal. My two Boxers are awesome!

We scooted along at our usual ground munching pace and I saw some of my friends enjoying some dog park fun so we went to say hello. My two friends were a bit excited so we got out of there after a brief hello.

Back up on the levee again and we motored along past some horses. They were playing and bouncing in the sunshine. Joe was really interested in them so we slowly walked back to take a better longer look. The horses stopped to watch us for a sec, but continued on playing. Joe really liked that so we sat and watched for a little while.

A few walks ago I saw an owner and their Dog head down a track to the river that I hadn’t noticed before so we took a peek down there. It was a nice spot, but there was a bit of a drop to the water and it was a little deep. So there was no gentle slope into the water… so we had to just sit by out of the water.

Zoe and joe didn’t seem to mind…they were happy to watch the ducks I hadn’t noticed. If there are ducks around Zoe and Joe are sure to find them and point them out!

We headed along the levee again, had a few stops for our usual rolling in the grass and took a back street shuffle home. It literally was a shuffle as we walked through some very deep (and noisy) leaf-fall. Zoe wasn’t so keen when I picked up some leaves and showered them over the Boxers… Joe didn’t seem to mind though.

We made it home for a well earned drink and I suspect, a nice sunny rest. Good job Zoe and Joe.
