Daisy, Lily and I headed out into the wide open spaces again today, for another relaxing walk…well Daisy and I walked…Lily went all roley-poley whenever she could!

Daisy and Lily are another of my team members that gives me a nice welcome. Lots of smiles and Tail-wags. Very nice!

We sort out collars and leads and off we go. We walked along a roadside and ducked down an alleyway that meets up with a park and the cycle-way. We crossed the cycleway and a foot bridge and we are into the wide open expanse of nicely manicured lawn! It had been mowed in the past few days so it was like walking on velvety grass the whole time. Springy and spongey underneath our paws! It hadn’t rained too much recently so our feet remained mostly dry.

The springy-spongeyness of the grass was so inviting, that Lily was stopping lots to roll about in it. Daisy and I just wated for the grassy moment to pass and off we trotted again. We did a circumnavigation of the p[ark again, though this time in the opposite direction to the last big loop we did the other day.

We got to visit with some horses and say hello. They were very friendly and were eager to say Hi. Daisy doesn’t seem to like them coming too close…and fair enough too…they are pretty big from a dogs-eye-view!

We continued off around the back of the field and came out at the other side near the road. We cut through the middle of the ovals this time to make our way home.

It was a very nice to get out and about today. We got to see some horses, check out some smells and sounds that caught our attention, so that was pretty good. I am certain though, that both were just as happy to make it home and have a warm nap before dinner!
