Bella, Teddy and I took the country road again today… and got to see, smell and hear lots of sheep!

The other day when I went to collect Bella and Teddy, teddy was there, but apparently Bella was having her own adventure after having escaped… Lil terror! We search and searched and eventually she was found by her owners…so at least everything turned out well in the end… I was very very worried! Naughty girl!

Today though, everyone was exactly where they were supposed to be and we were all happy to be re-united. Bella and Teddy, although only small, give a high-powered welcome, that can only be cured by a few games of fetch first and then we can get going!

I tricked them both today, as when they returned after the first fetch…I clipped them in and off we bolted… they were very happy to see the gate open, so all thoughts of playing fetch… went out the gate too!

I was planning to head down to the river again but one thing led to another and we ended up going up and down a section where there were a lot of sheep grazing in a very green paddock. They looked pretty happy and were making lots of noise. Teddy was especially interested in the comings and goings of some sheep that came up quite close to where we were.

We may have been downwind and the small creek was making a bit of noise so we were able to sit there for a little while and watch. Well…Teddy and I were interested in what the sheep were up to…Bella was snuffling about the roadside vantage point we had,

Once Teddy and I had enough of sheep watching… I think Teddy would have liked to have stayed longer!... we headed off up the hill for home again. It was a great day to walk. We had pretty blue skies and sunshine, with a little bit of a breeze, but it was warm enough in the sunshine.

We passed a fair few dogs along the way home, who I am sure would have liked to have been out with Bella and Teddy. Good job today Bella and Teddy… and I am glad to see you back all safe and sound Bella!
