22.05.15 Bella and Teddy
Bella, Teddy and I did a backstreet shuffle to link up some of the streets we have explored.
Today I wanted to piece together a big loop that we had done bits of before in our back street shuffles. There are a lot of nice roadside grassy pathways and its very nice to have a look around and see what everybody is up to.
We actually did a “there-and –back” loop as I wanted to check distances and times. Bella and Teddy are no slouches…I was just calibrating my lil step meter and nice grassy pathways are great for that. Bella and Teddy also keep up a great pace so it’s a perfect time to check the odometer…so to speak!
We jumped out the gate and turned along a sort of main road. Along the way we are greeted by all those lonely Dogs at home. Bella and Teddy are pretty sociable and would like to say hello, but we keep of motoring on.
More turns took us down more streets and cul de sac loops. The cul de sacs have the alleyways we knew of already, so we were just checking on them. One of the alleyways has a closed end and will come into operation once the inevitable development of more houses take over the current pasture land. More places to explore!
We doubled back following our route (for the most part) and we got to have a second look at some of the sights and smells we discovered along the way.
Bella and Teddy love their time out of the yard (don’t we Bella?…naughty girl escaped a little while ago!) and we covered more ground adding to the more than 30km we have covered together. Not bad for our little legs!
